1970 Beautifully engraved Certificate from the Pacific Northwest Bell Company Certificat no. 1 (Full size)issued in the 1970's. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a woman talking on an early push button pay phone. This item has the printed signatures of the company's officers and is over 24 years old.

Pacific Northwest Bell Company wasa local operating company that had been a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T. PNB eventually merged with Northwestern Bell and Mountain States Telephone companies to become U S WEST Communications, Inc.

Beautifully engraved uncancelled certificate from the Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Company issued no later than 1979. This historic document was printed by the Jeffries Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of Lewis and Clark, and Sacagawea overlooking the terrain. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President ( C.M. Blair ) and Secretary (D.J. Robbins) and is over 24 years old. The certificate was folded for storare otherwise in EF+ condition.

Certificate Vignette: The company was managed by US West which is now owned by Qwest.
